Mosquito Larval Trap

Set and catch to reduce mosquitos around your home. This trap mimics a body of stagnant water, attracting adult egg-laying female mosquitos, but in a closed environment which the larvae cannot escape from.

Attract adult female mozzies to this simple trap with the non-toxic, food grade bait
Larvae hatching from mosquito eggs laid on the water in the trap cannot escape and thereby reducing the next generation of annoying mozzies
Any larvae that do complete their development into adult mosquitoes remain trapped inside and will die, as long as you maintain the water level
Non-toxic food grade bait; safe for pets and children; lasts 4 weeks
Place trap in a moist, shady part of the garden to trap mosquitoes where they rest, see FAQ for more information
Top up with water as needed and remove leaves and debris from the funnel
Re-set trap with new booster tablet every 4 weeks
1 trap is suitable for standard houseblock while 2 or more are recommended for larger blocks or high mosquito populations
Please recognize this trap does not kill the buzzing, biting mosquitos you have but instead uses the simple behavioural strategy that standing water is needed to complete the lifecycle for the next generation

The Mosquito Larval Booster Tablets paired with the Mosquito Larval Trap target the larval stage of the mosquito life cycle. These booster tablets help to create water conditions ripe for mosquito egg-laying within the Mosquito Larval Trap. Add a new tablet to the Mosquito Larval Trap every 4 weeks for maximum efficiency. 2 tablets per pack.

Mosquito Drops

With just a few drops of this silicon-based liquid, manufactured from very pure quartz sand, you can significantly reduce mosquito breeding on your property. Use in standing water: ponds, water features, bird baths, blocked drains, septic tanks, etc. It works by spreading across and forming a very thin film on the water's surface, suffocating immature mosquito stages and hindering the female from laying new eggs. This purely physical action has no adverse effects on aquatic, soil or sediment dwelling creatures, bees, birds etc. Although it is NOT recommended for drinking water in Australia it is certified for application to drinking water storages in the USA.
45 ml bottle. Application rate: (0.5ml - 1ml per m2 of water surface). Repeat application in 4 weeks.
