United Nations World Environment Day
international event, themed 'Kick the

face. Numerous workshops and discussions
feature how you can reduce your
environmental footprint
Transition Town Display
Explore a town
making the transition away from fossil
fuel dependence.
Green Technology Exhibits
Range from all
things solar, to water tanks, cars, wind
generators and information on building
sustainable homes
Wildlife Presentations & Displays
The rare and
endangered Bilby from Western Queensland
will be visiting to inform and to raise
awareness of the many magnificient
native animals under threat. Geckos
Wildlife, an
interactive Oceanlife display,
Queensland Museum displays and even
native wildlife nest box building will
be some of the attractions of the day
Schools Program
Including wildlife
presentations, displays and workshops.
The Gubbi Gubbi people will conduct
workshops in painting and playing the
digeridoo. See native bees, an
interactive 'OceanLife' display, learn
to identify creek bugs, circus
workshops, sustainable schools exhibits,
pony hops, and much more!
