Citrus gall wasp is a native pest that can occur on all types of citrus but mainly affects grapefruit and lemon. Check for the characteristic lumps or galls of Citrus Gall Wasp on young branches and twigs in late winter. Prune off any affected twigs before August and burn. If there are tiny holes in the gall, then it is too late.
