Apple Pouch
Home apple and pear growers in the USA have used these nylon ‘sockettes’ successfully for years. The Apple Pouch simply prevents access to the fruit by the codling moth larvae. Cover the fruit as soon as the petals drop and the expandable pouch will protect all season long. Close the pouch by tying a knot or recycling a twist-tie or rubber band. Covering the fruit in this way may also help reduce bird damage. Pack of 100.

Codling Moth Diamond Trap
This new generation codling moth trap attracts both MALE and FEMALE moths. This is a widespread pest in NSW, VIC, SA, TAS and QLD; damaging apple, pear, quince and walnut crops by burrowing through the fruit. One trap is usually sufficient for 6 - 8 trees and has a life of 4 - 6 weeks. Traps should be up from bloom to harvest. All inner surfaces of this red diamond-shaped trap are coated with a non-drying glue so that when you unfold the trap and place the lure on the base all that remains is to hang it. Please note that these "short season" traps are not refillable. Pack of 2 traps + 2 lures.
