POLE SAVER RODS are an Australian breakthrough in termite and fungal control for timber. These chalk-like sticks are a least-toxic combination of boron and fluoride. Both of these low-hazard chemicals have the ability to diffuse in the presence of moisture to create a protection zone 50 -100 mm around the application point. When activated by moisture the slow release sticks kill rot micro-organisms, the cause of fungal decay, and prevent white ant infestation. Sound wood is protected from further attack and tests by the CSIRO show this protection can last up to 10 years. Can be used to treat all outdoor timber structures such as pergolas, timber decks, steps, fence posts and rails, window frames. Any timber surface exposed to weather especially end grain, joins, and timber in contact with the ground will benefit from treatment. This product is not recommended for whole house treatment against termites.

POLE SAVER RODS

Suitable for use in timber fence posts and pole frame houses. A 12 mm diameter auger, able to drill to a depth of 220 mm is required.

NO ROT GEL

No Rot Gel is a diffusible wood preservative that can be brushed on. Acting in the same way as No Rot Sticks, it is ideal in situations where the timber cannot be drilled for No Rot Sticks. The Gel can be applied by brush, roller, dipping or spraying. Supplied as a ready-to-use thick, non-flammable, non-hazardous water based product. Suggested application rates are 10-20 ml of No Rot Gel per 1000 cubic cm for either preventative or remedial treatment of timber against decay by surface mould, algae and fungi and insects such as borers and termites. It can also be used for the treatment of other surfaces which have been in contact with affected timber. Avoid contact with eyes and skin.
