SLASHER

Slasher is a non-selective, plant burn-out spray based on a food grade additive used in the food processing industry to dissolve plant based materials. When applied as directed it causes rapid desiccation of plant foliage. The active ingredient, pelargonic acid, quickly works by removing or "burning" the waxy cuticle of green vegetation, it will not move through soil to injure nearby plants. Results are usually visible on most weeds within hours. It is best applied in warm, sunny weather with no rain or irrigation for 2 hours. It effectively controls both annual broadleaf weeds and grasses that are less than 15 cm tall and for top kill of perennial species. Treated areas can be sown or transplanted into as soon as desirable levels of weed control are obtained but follow-up applications 7-10 days later may be required for perennials and larger annual weeds. Application rate: annuals 3rd true leaf stage 40 ml/1L; larger annuals 50 ml/1L; perennial weeds 70ml /1L.
